This TAMA Woodworks poplar snare drum is built to a full 14″ diameter and 6.5″ depth to take advantage of the sonic qualities of the 8-ply poplar wood shell, which brings a full-bodied and warm tone combined with medium attack. The outer shell is covered with an art grain wrap, and the drum is equipped with matte black hardware, including triple-flange hoops, throw-off and a single row of bridge lugs.
