It’s reminiscent of a certain type of rock music I enjoyed as a teenager in the 1970s. These recordings sat on the shelf for over 30 years and are being released now in 2023. Vai made this album with his friend, fellow motorcycle enthusiast, and vocalist Gash, who died shortly after its recording. Vai recently decided the world needed to hear this album and finally released it in 2023 because he wants the world to know Gash at long last.
