At the core of the Icon NS-5 is its masterfully chosen tonewood combination: an alder body for warmth and punch, a maple neck for added brightness and sustain, and a rosewood fingerboard for crystalline mids and smooth highs. The 35″ scale length enhances string tension and definition across all registers, ensuring rock-solid low-end response, especially on the extended B string. With its sleek double-cut body design and smooth bolt-on heel, the NS-5 offers effortless access to all 24 jumbo frets, giving players the freedom to explore the entire range with comfort and control.

Electronics are powered by Aguilars renowned DCB soapbar pickups, delivering outstanding output, rich sustain, and wide-ranging dynamics. Paired with the active Aguilar OBP-2 preamp, players can precisely sculpt their tone with 18dB boost/cut at 40Hz and 16dB boost/cut at 6.5kHz.
