The combination of the large throat bell, along with the reverse leadpipe design and straight bore design, keeping the bore .463-inches continuously throughout the trumpet, makes this instrument perfect for the player looking for an instrument with the sound and projection of the Schilke C trumpets, but with less resistance.

The CX trumpet is available in two variationsa fixed yellow brass bell, or a tunable yellow brass belleach designed to customize the instrument performance to the player.
