This one is a 16 in. bamboo model with a hand-burned design that represents the life cycle of water. The design, called Rhythm Water, was selected for its reverent depiction of the essential nature of mankinds most precious natural element.
It has a 2.5 in. diameter, which gives it a complex and enchanting resonance. They work by virtue of a maze of tines that react with a gentle, but crisp rhythmic tone as a cascade of small lava pebbles flow over them. The effect is often described as resembling a gentle steady rainfall.
