Beginning with its Lyrachord body, Ovation Applause AB28 maintains many of the traditional Ovation appointments. Its rounded-off, mid-depth cutaway design clearly distinguishes it from other 12-strings on the market in terms of appearance, and when you plug it in, you can actually hear the difference. For a genuinely timeless look that works in any situation, a stacked spruce top is satin finished with ABS ivory binding. A naturally finished ovangkol fretboard with 20 medium-sized frets and conventional markings is housed in the mahogany neck, giving guitarists of all skill levels a comfortable and familiar feel. The vintage-style mahogany headstock is lined with chrome-plated pegs and superb die-cast tuning machinery for a genuinely timeless appearance.
