MEINL Wood Block Hand Clap

Percussion block with a hand clap effect.

This Wood Block Hand Clap from MEINL combines the natural wood tone of a percussion block with a hand clap effect, and its playable with a drum stick. Inside the hollow Baltic birch body is a steel cabasa chain that produces a crisp “clap” effect when the block is struck. The playing surface is finished with a soft pad so you can play with drum sticks and not damage the block while getting a full sound. It is equipped with a standard eye-bolt mount to fit any percussion rod.
