The Byzance Vintage C Squared Ride Cymbal from MEINL is the signature ride cymbal from Chris Coleman. This versatile yet powerful 21″ ride cymbal starts with a heavy blank and a bow worked into a high profile, giving it a weight and shape combination that work together to accentuate stick articulation. The holes around the edge are an uncommon feature found on ride cymbals, but they were added here to control the wash and sustain larger cymbals generate. While the bell is thick enough to cut through any band, the hand-hammering gives it a warm and earthy tonality for a musical punch.
