Built on traditional styling and legendary Martin tone, this left-handed D10EL-01 Road Series dreadnought acoustic-electric is one of the most affordable solid wood models they offer. While the D10E-01 doesn’t have a ton of aesthetic extras, it’s a solidly built dreadnought that is sure to make you happy to call your own for years. First off, it’s constructed with a sapele top, back and sides, so the D10EL-01 Road Series will give you the very mahogany-like warmth that most acoustic players crave with a bit more love on the high end. Its hardwood neck was given a Performing Artist (PA) profile and, paired with the hand-applied natural oil finish, makes it easier for smooth transitions along the black Richlite fingerboard. Other appointments include a black boltaron end piece, white bridge and end pins with black dots, tortoise pickguard, single-ring rosette, larger position dots, and a Fishman MX-T Electronics with soundhole tuner.
