The set of three HT (Heat Treated) single-coil pickups use patent-pending pole pieces and a large neodymium magnet. They are able to achieve an ultrahigh output and powerful low-end response while retaining clean, clear tone at lower volume levels. The bridge pickup has been overwound with plain enamel magnet wire, providing a strong tone, while the neck and middle pickups have been underwound with heavy formvar magnet wire for a more traditional voice. The Cutlass HTs electronics package also includes a push-push adjustable 20dB boost function and a transparent buffered output for complete tonal consistency, wherever your volume control is set.
