This DW Collector’s Series oak snare drum is custom-built from the inside out, beginning with an 8-ply red oak shell. DW makes these shells from thicker 1/32″ plies for an extra full, punchy sound that holds up to high-volume playing. It’s finished with satin lacquer and features chrome-plated hardware, including classic DW turret lugs.
