CONCERT SOLOS FOR INTERMEDIATE SNARE DRUMMER

This is a collection of musically challenging yet practical solos for the mature beginner through intermediate levels. Left pages contain no rolls, right pages utilize rolls – allowing students to experience dynamically expressive playing before rolls are fully developed. Solo features include: numerous dynamic changes a variety of meters including mixed meters short rolls (used to assist the developing drummer) each solo is a complete musical work a variety of formal structures to help develop an awareness of compositional styles suitable for contest, recital or supplementary lesson material.
