In the tradition of the British Brass Band, the XA1 has a vintage English short model Shepherds crook cornet design with a tighter wrap that promotes a dark, rich and round sound, plus a wonderful response at lower dynamic levels. This cornet is even in color and intonation in all registers with articulation clarity from high to low and good projection at the highest volume.
