This MEINL Byzance Crash Cymbal Pack delivers the modern, versatile sounds you need. This pack combines a 16″ vintage trash crash and an 18″ vintage sand thin crashboth developed with input from Benny Greb. The 16″ trash crash’s sandblasted surface tones down harsh frequencies and stick attack, giving you a soft, mellow and transparent sound with dry, relic-like characteristics. Meanwhile, the 18″ sand thin crash’s hammering, sandblasting and lathing processes allow you to dig in with total control without overpowering your kit or band. These hand-hammered cymbals are crafted in Turkey from 100% cast B20 bronzecombining traditional cymbal-making methods with modern sound requirements to offer a wide dynamic range that fits comfortably in just about any style.
