The TAMA Artwood maple snare drum is an excellent mixture of tone, sensitivity and surprising value. It’s built with a 6-ply, 100% maple shell at 5 mm thickness. This relatively thin build projects a balanced tone that blends upper-frequency clarity with rich mids and warm lows. The 6.5″ depth gives the drum enough heft to cover a wide array of music styles, for expressive performance and recording.The hardware includes 2.3 mm triple-flanged Mighty Hoops, Quick Touch strainer and butt plate and 20-strand snare wires.Evans G1 Coated batter head and Evans 300 snare side head produce professional tone, right out of the box.
