The Reverend Tommy Koffin Signature is rugged solidbody ready for life on the road, with enough sparkle to light up the dingiest stage. Built with korinaa legendary, stop-in-your tracks, spit take-worthy wood, the body is perfectly balanced and perfectly unique. The caramel-colored neck is roasted maple with a roasted maple fretboard. Flashy, Tommy Koffin-esque rockabilly runs come easy with its medium oval-shaped profile and angled neck heel.
Tommy spec’d his signature Reverend with a pair of Railhammer Chisel humbuckers. From warm and aggressive tones to fat and mean with superb clarity, these pickups aren’t for the shy. Rails under the wound strings keep the lows tight, while poles under the plain strings make for soaring highs. A passive tone bass contour control re-voices the pickups in a pinch.
Work out your whammies with the Wilkinson tremolo bridge, which has great sustain and, more importantly, stays in tune. Dial in a perfect feel by opting for two or three strings with the Vari-Claw tremolo claw. Pin-lock tuners and a Triple-Tree string tree keep everything stable for long sets or practice jams.
