With solid African mahogany construction throughout, the Alvarez MD66CE Custom dreadnought acoustic-electric guitar produces a warm, woody voice with an excellent clear bass response and warm glistening trebles. The Alvarez MD66CE is powerful and responsive and delivers across the lower and upper middle frequencies for a very connected feeling when playing. The FS6 bracing structure produces an excellent ratio between strength and vibration, which affords the mahogany top the movement to generate a more broader frequency response than is often associated with mahogany.

Although undertested in aesthetic design, the MD66ce has a premium look and feel due to its top-of-the-line materials and components, including select shell inlays and a flawless, thin poly finish shine. The Alvarez MD66ce is also fitted with the LR Baggs VTC Element System for excellent live performance.
