The AAD50 Advanced grand dreadnought from Ibanez was designed to deliver a rich, bright and loud tone, with an unprecedentedly wide dynamic range. With slightly larger than typical proportions, this reinvented design achieves a superb, powerful sound, and thanks to the extensive consideration given to the ergonomics, its extremely comfortable to play. The “Grand Dreadnought” body is made with a spruce top and sapele body paired to an okoume neck and Purpleheart fretboard for comfort and rich tonal character. Additional features include X-M bracing, high-ratio die-cast tuners and a scalloped Purpleheart bridge.
