The AAD50CE grand dreadnought from Ibanez was designed to deliver a rich, bright and loud tone with a wide dynamic range. With slightly larger than typical proportions, this reinvented design achieves a superb, powerful sound, and thanks to the extensive consideration given to the ergonomics, its extremely comfortable to play. This model is built with a spruce top and sapele body paired with an okoume neck and Purpleheart fingerboard and bridge for a natural, warm tone and rich tonal character. An Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup accurately translates that full sound to whatever amplification system you plug it into, while an Ibanez AEQ-TP2 preamp provides the extra punch of on-board EQ along with a convenient and easy-to-read digital tuner and 2-band EQ, located on the instruments upper bout.
