No manual setup is needed. Simply power on, and the BM-1 will detect and pair with nearby BLE-MIDI devices automatically. Using the dedicated Korg BM-1 App, you can group up to five BM-1 units to send and receive MIDI between them. When used with Korgs free music apps KORG Gadget 2 LE or KORG Module, additional gadgets, tracks, and functions become available.
The main adapter (MIDI OUT) and sub-adapter (MIDI IN) can be used together or separately to match your setup. If your equipment only has a MIDI OUT terminal, you can use just the main adapter. The sub-adapter cannot be used on its own. The adapters are different depths and connected by a flexible cable, making them easy to attach even when the MIDI IN and MIDI OUT jacks are close together or vertically aligned.
