A 20 kick drum case, a 14 floor tom case, and most trunks can hold the full kit! But just because it has a small footprint doesn’t imply it has a small tone. Your grooves will be audibly heard thanks to the shells’ considerable depth and presence from its 6-ply all-birch construction. On the floor tom of the Stage Custom Hip, there is also a snare strainer for an optional second, deeper snare. A great stage and studio trick is to use the little form factor bass drum as a sub-kick extension to give heaviness to a regular-sized kick.
